These grants provide an opportunity for qualified nonprofit regional organizations to receive funding from the City.
Community Organization Grants
The Community Organization Grant (COG) program provides an opportunity for qualified nonprofit organizations that deliver services to Virginia Beach residents to receive funding from the City. The City Council-appointed COG Review and Allocation Committee evaluates applications and determines how best to allocate funds among the organizations.
Financial and service delivery reports are submitted by recipient organizations as a condition of grant awards.
The FY25 submission period for Community Organization Grants will open from August 1 through August 31.
Regional Organization Grants
The Regional Organization Grant program provides an opportunity for qualified nonprofit regional organizations to receive funding from the City. The specific grant allocations are based on the availability of funds as determined through the annual operating budget process. Financial reports are submitted by recipient organizations as a condition of the grant award.
